Well on a rainy Saturday I ventured out to do some opshopping and then a week later on a sunny Saturday I ventured out again. Note to self: cute red sandshoes are perhaps not the most ideal wet weather shoes.
Here are my finds: I always seem to go for the vintage sheets first (my current fave) then meander around looking at other linens; shoes & clothes, bric a brac; kitchen ware; haberdashery; tchotchkes, etc...)
Another vintage sheet for the collection/swap
Sweet doily
Cute pot holder
Vintage linen teatowel (50c?! I cant resist them)
Vintage floral fabric $1
cream Oxford heels
Compartmentalised kids tray
Quadrifoglio breakfast bowels and tablecloth
2 soup spoons for my mismatched cutlery set (I was able to get my mismatched set all in one go for forks, knives and spoons at a big opshop depot but for some reason they had hardly any soup spoons, so slowly gathering them…)
1970s dinner party anyone?!
These new thrifted melamine servers go perfectly with my old thrifted linen tablecloth
Divine floral tablecloth
Bowl of yummy watermelon yarn: whether I make anything from the yarn is beside the point: it looks so yummy! (Yarn did not come in bowl: when I got home I thought fruit is not the only item you can display in bowls.)
Vintage threads: Gutermann is good but thrifted vintage Sylko & Coats Super Sheen threads are so much better: yes I am a vintage thread snob!
Happy opshopping folks! xx
